# Can we restrict Opensearch plugins section from opensearch dashboard to specific user?

@amolusare Are you looking to limit the visibility of plugins in the OpenSearch Dashboards UI or just functionality?  
Do you have any particular plugins in mind?

No perticular plugins, can limit the whole plugins section visibility?

@amolusare The only available option is the one below.

```auto
opensearch_security.readonly_mode.roles: ["read_only"]

```

Any user assigned to this group will have limited visibility of the OpenSearch Dashboards UI and will see only Dashboards panel.
