Can I install standalone Open Distro security plugin on a compatible Elasticsearch oss, e.g. Elasticsearch OSS7.1.1 deployed on SLES.

I have Elasticsearch oss 7.1.1. deployed on SLES OS, and want to implement TLS, RBAC and Authentication. I want to know if Open Distro standalone security plugin can be used?

Do I need to install Elasticsearch versions on CentOS 7 and Amazon Linux 2 or I can continue to use SLES?

Hi @sunilchadha did you figure out how to run the standalone plugin in your SLES environment. If so, would you consider contributing the steps as a how-to?
