@mihirsoni created a nice CLI tool to assist with importing & creation. See the [blog post here](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/opensource/open-distro-for-elasticsearch-alerting-monitors-command-line/). If this does not fit your use case please share more detail on what you would like to do.
