Is there an option to set different time ranges for different visualization panels in a dashboard rather than having a centralized time range for all the panels of a dashboard ?

@mlee What is your use case? You can save your Dashboards/visualizations with a selected time range.

@pablo, yep, we can save the entire dashboard with different panels with a specific time range. But I want to see if there’s a way to save **each panel** in the dashboard with **its own individual time range**.

For example, say my dashboard includes system metrics — one panel shows **CPU usage over the last 1 hour** , another shows **disk usage over the last 24 hours** , and another shows **network activity over the past 7 days**. The idea is to **retain those different time ranges per panel** , instead of having the entire dashboard follow a single global time filter.

This would be super helpful when monitoring trends over different time windows in one view. Does OpenSearch Dashboards support this kind of panel-level time control?

@mlee As far as I can see, individual visualizations can’t preserve the time range. This is only available for Dashboards, whose time setting controls the visualization time range.

You could consider opening a feature request for such functionality in visualization.
